Property Trader (“we”, “us”) is a neutral clearing service for broker‑led real estate markets. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1) Data We Collect
- Account data: name, email, role (broker/buyer/seller/admin), password hash.
- Listing & market data: property metadata submitted by brokers, market parameters.
- Reservation & negotiation data: confidential buyer/seller reservation values, offers, and clearing results.
- Operational data: audit logs, timestamps, error logs, and security events.
- Verification data (brokers): license/jurisdiction details and optional uploaded evidence files.
2) How We Use Data
- Operate the clearing mechanism and produce match outputs.
- Provide dashboards and auditability for authorized users.
- Maintain security, reliability, and compliance logs.
- Communicate transactional emails (verification, password reset, negotiation status).
3) Confidentiality of Reservation Values
Reservation values are treated as confidential inputs to the mechanism. We do not disclose raw values to other users. We only surface the mechanism outputs needed for negotiation (e.g., feasible ranges).
4) Legal Bases (GDPR)
We process data to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, and for legitimate interests such as security and fraud prevention.
5) Cookies
We use essential session cookies required to keep you logged in and to protect the service. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies at this time.
6) Data Sharing & Processors
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers required to operate the service (e.g., hosting and email), and only under contractual safeguards.
7) International Transfers
If any processors are located outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., EU Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your data.
8) Retention
We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with law, and maintain auditability. You can request deletion subject to legal and contractual requirements.

We apply access controls, encryption in transit (HTTPS), and audit logging. No method of transmission is 100% secure.
